If you go to the doctor’s appointment with more than one problem that you want discussed or solved, it is very important that you either bring a list of what you want to discuss with him and give it to him at the very start of your appointment when he first comes in or tell him at the start of the interview that you have x-number of things to discuss and here’s what they are.
Having this written list, or telling the doctor at the outset that you have several concerns, is very important for several reasons.
One is that your doctor needs to schedule his time with you wisely so he needs to know at the outset what your expectations are for that visit. Bringing up all of your concerns at the outset allows your doctor to have the opportunity to make an intelligent decision about how the time with you should be spent.
